for the last question/ controversy, although both humans and machines do learn from the art styles of professionals or do studies, the difference is that AI will never credit the original artist, whereas a human does. the ones that don't will usually get called out upon it. along with that, many ai art platforms are paid, meaning they are making profit off of a professionals art work/styles with no credits or awareness. lastly, the main thing that makes art special to most people is the process, the many days of hard work to produce a piece that the artist is happy with. when it's done in two seconds the whole effect is gone. this is coming from an artist.
