I am a web developer and since ChatGPT was released I wanted to use it on my job. But I didn't really have an opportunity yet, because it is almost completely useless in the real world of developing complex web applications. Yeah it's cool as an assisting tool, like hey just write me this small algorithm. But the complex job of that task is usually not writing that algorithm, but rather deciding about the interfaces, what exactly it needs to do, where and how to execute that algorithm etc. That still needs to be done by the developer.
