I’m confused about what version the victims were using. ChatGPT 5 has so many safeguards that I can’t get it to do this sort of thing if I tried. Was it a very old version? A jailbroken version? This story is just odd.
Full disclosure: I dealt with a stalker in 2024. I used all resources available, including AIs for cybersecurity advice. Every conversation mentioned counseling, 988, etc. I didn’t even mention unaliving as I had no intention of violence toward anyone. So that is why I am confused. I did not have any of the results these victims had.
