I disagree with this based on the fact that AI influence over humanity happens over electronic connection not human connection. Sure it can beat us at chess but never at living life. And all forms of work are essential to life. In my opinion The AI phenom is all about greed accompanied with foolishness... example if i take away jobs because bots can do tthem nore effectively than humans, who is paying for the bots to operate and why in the hell would someone give up their job becuae someone can do it better? The answer is greed not efficiency. Companies exist because of the capital other humans produce. So no capital no company. So AI will remain a tool so that capitalist will be able to generate more money. Sell that book baby!!!!
