Personally I feel that there's nothing wrong with AI "art", unless you're acting like it takes any kind of skill or it makes you an artist. It's great for getting ideas, but acting like using it makes you an "artist" is just silly. It would be like 3d printing a simple machine and calling yourself an engineer.
