You are not seeing the big picture. If you have a problem with American business owners developing AI and robots, how would you feel if it was another country? We can regulate American businesses but have no control over foreign entities. Remember that innovation increases efficiency and that efficiency drives GDP growth. Your argument about stoping AI because they will take jobs is no different than banning tractors because they allow one person to do the job of many. AI and robotics will happen weather or not we develop them. What is important is that America is the leader in the technology. Considering your input on how business are run, maybe you should look inward and improve how government runs. We are now at 38 Trillion dollars of national debt which is at least 122% of total annual GDP. We now spend more money per year in interest payments than we spend per year in national defense. We are not only continueing to run a deficit but we are adding an additional Trillion dollars of national debt every 100 days. Both parties have lead us here. There is no point in talking about AI, robotics, healthcare, or jobs if we continue to devalue the dollar through inflation and bankrupt the country.
