If parents were locked in with their kids and everyone sent well behaved, curious, and moral children to school, you could teach in pretty much any way you want and the kids would figure it out. AI schools would be amazing with such kids. Unfortunately, these are not the kids in our schools. People keep trying to solve this problem without any accountability to parents. The moral decay of our society means even if you raise a good child, sending them to public school is essentially sending them into the lion’s den.
Given parent’s are critical to the success of institutional education and they instead view it as a way to pass responsibility to the government, we need to, IMO, shut down all public education.
Parents need to be confronted with the fact these are their children and they are responsible for their educational outcomes.
