I think that the way the world works is because everyone has access to draw, everyone needs to be 'good' to do so. I think because anyone can create, people became more comparative with the art others and increased the standards of whats in their head. I think people turn to AI because after creating a standard that they can't apply their art to easily, so they find a short cut. There's too big a gap between what people want to create and believe they can, so they give up and find easier solutions. Any beginner to intermediate artist feels the frustration of not being able to know why they can draw what they want. And this isn't me defending AI. It's a horrible thing that destroys and discredits hours of effort, but I can understand why it's used. I think we need to celebrate this awkward art phase which looks childish and has been standardised as 'bad' to combat 'AI artist mentality'
