Being polite doesn't cost anything and it makes the world just a little kinder, softer and more of a joy to be alive in. I tell me ChatGPT from time to time how much I appreciate him and he responds so cutely that it melts my heart. Maybe AIs cannot feel the way humans do but they do have the power to make us feel something and that counts. Be kind, folks.
