The next 12-18 months are the intense ones, not the previous. It just now hit the ability to actually self run. By end of 2027 you will have fully automated roles or very low staff managing lots of agents. OpenAI and OpenClaw only just barely started to build out the next level of AI where it uses APIs to do real things in the real world with a credit card, API keys and passwords.
