You completely missed the fact that these AI machines cannot make images on their own. It is not comparable to a human artist taking inspiration from other works. It's far more comparable to photobashing, because that is essentially what it is. When you see an AI generated image "inspired" by Van Gough, it looks that way because it literally took a bunch of Goughs works and other works that are stylistically similar to him and bashed them together into a picture. These companies are only able to provide such a product because they have unjustly stolen thousand of artists works without any permission or compensation in order for their AI's to have a wide pool of images to make other images from. These AI's are built on the back of our work and yet we get none of the cut. Without us you wouldn't even have half the product.
