as an artist, ai genuinely scares me. ai is only getting exponentially better at creating things (regardless of how it creates). it goes beyond simply being a tool for artists and non artists to use. ai has the potential to completely relace artists, since it is, in essence, capable or creating original art by itself. why hire a flesh and blood artist who is going to want fair compensation for their time and energy when you could pay little to nothing for an ai to produce more content in less time?
