Lack of funds. 23 percent of families where I live are in poverty. We used to have buses that cost 1 dollar to ride. But we don't have buses anymore because the county won't pay for them. A taxi cost $10 so at least we have that. If you get stranded somewhere miles from home and the taxi service won't answer the phone then good luck getting home. Because no one will give you a ride. They don't want to get robbed. Having just one of these driverless taxis would be nice for a ride back from the grocery store.
