I'm already calling it: AI will take all the jobs not cause it's good, but cause for CEOs and entrepreneurs is good enough. A majority of us will become jobless and you'll be pretty sure any government will do the bare minimum to ensure the unemployed masses will have any means of survival. The jobs surviving the shift will be paid way less, cause now most of your salary will be just the privilege of having a job; new jobs regarding AI will actually give more possibilities but way less than in the past, plus they will be some of the most boring, dehumanising and soulless experiences ever until either your bosses realise they can do that shit themselves or AI becomes so good it won't need Prompt Designers and Agent Creators anymore, making the whole ordeal a pointless exercise anyway. Meanwhile the final blow to the global extinction of quality is being dealt: you will consume slop, drive slop, live in slop and eat slop while the hyper rich will feast in all the things we once had access to. This new system will ensure that the masses are dumb and tired enough to never rebel, never complain, never defy. AI will think for you, will learn skills for you, will speak for you: the poor have always been useful tools for the rich, with this new tech now we're useless to them, so finally they won't have anymore to interact with us.
