Newsflash…robotics are already doing the work, just in countries that can pay cheap wages. Those companies cannot be enticed to return to the USA. AI is beginning to replace entry level tech positions now. And it’s not just an issue for America.
Once the world is blasted out of our sleepwalking by painful circumstances, it will be too late. If we don’t act, humanity is doomed to become slaves to the machine. Blasted out of relevance, and ultimately, existence, by our own arrogance, the ideal of efficiency, and our addiction to comfort.
Humans are so clever and in love with our fine selves…and we are so screwed.
