I don't get why AI prompters call themselves "artists"? Like ok, let's assume AI models "learn exactly like humans do", then AI prompters are writing what they want to see to the AI, for it to create. In that situation the AI is the "artist" of the picture and they're it's commissioners at best. If I were to commission an actual artist to draw something I have an "artistic vision" of, telling the artist on what to tweak during the art creation process until it fits my "vision", then I'd be factually wrong to say that I'm the artist that created the artwork that came out of that process, just because I told the artist "what to draw". I'd be the commissioner of the piece and that's it. Even if I'd "correct" the artist's WIP's using photoshop or something of the sort during that process, I'd still be nothing more than the commissioner of the artwork. So it doesn't really make sense for me that the people using AI insist on being called "artists", while they should be called AI prompters at most
