Very Conservative financial professional here— he is absolutely right about alot of this. I think the transition will take longer- AI is much more expensive than advertised but with small language models and efficiencies over the next 20 years, will certainly be cheaper. We will need to very heavily tax these companies or alternstively, tkse ownership and force dividends for the populace’s benefit.
We will eventually need to switch to a more Socialist model if all of the jobs disappear.
