The way A.I. is being reported it assumes that at some point A.I. will stop advancing. We need to understand that progress is only getting faster and the new jobs being reported that A.I. is creating will only be filled by more advanced A.I. in the near future. Humans will not be able to learn the new skills to fill those jobs fast enough. Some companies are implementing their A.I. too soon and people see that as a victory for humans believing that it will never be able to do those tasks. A.I. is in a positive feedback loop in that A.I. is not only helping programmers create more powerful A.I. but it is now creating new ones all on its own. Over the next few years (which is an eternity for A.I.) we will see advancements so rapid it will be difficult to impossible to keep up. It's going to affect every aspect of our lives.
