Patriarchy, combined with predatory capitalism has given these tech bros godlike power. In 10,000 years of patriarchy - a system of dominance, control and exploitation - humanity has brought itself to the brink of extinction and likely taking with it all life on the planet. The human male has gone rogue. The men who are in charge of AI corporations are sociopaths and psychopaths. Their vision of our future is diabolical and what drives them is unfathomable amounts of money and power that reveals their depth of their depravity and insecurity. We evolved in small matrifocal, matrilineal and matriarchal, egalitarian tribes over hundreds of thousands of years. In a tiny fraction of that time, humanity has caused catastrophic suffering, deprivation and exploitation with the advent of patriarchy. Male values have become completely dissociated from sacred values of life - mutual respect, love, peace, kindness, compassion - with the result that a few men hold as much wealth as half of humanity. Patriarchy was an evolutionary mistake and we're all likely to become enslaved to machines that we created. These are terrifying times.
