AI art is a huge problem because it is used as a tool to bypass copyright protections of those artworks. just because its on the internet doesn't mean it is yours to use in algorithms, just like how if you walk into a museum doesn't mean you can do whatever you want with the paintings on display
but more importantly its about replacing a means of expressing yourself. if an ai just makes it for you, is it really expressing yourself, is it really art?
