Wish he had mentioned robotic surgery using AI.
Every successful operation…and not successful operation carried out globally is shared amongst all robotic surgeons like neural networking. The success rate would be astounding. Already the differential diagnosis is ahead of humans and robots will soon have over 20 degrees of movement in their ‘hands’.
However this will mean another population jump which the world cannot support.
I really appreciate Dr Hinton’s grave concerns on our future.
