There's a tug-of-war going on right now over whether or not AI is going to be good for society or bad, particularly for the individual. I'm going with the assumption that it's going to be bad. I figure that it will be easier to integrate with it if it turns out to be good than opt-out after your life is wrapped up in it if it turns out to be bad.
