I have to write for class. Now here’s what can happen:
1. If I write something too good it can be stolen.
2. If I write it badly or have something else write it, I can be thrown out.
3. If I write it just enough to pass, I pass.
AI taking straight punches at the dumpster fire of Academia should be more eye opening than the usage of AI. The larger reason as to why AI can easily write papers is due to the rubric grading methods. Anyone who doesn’t even take the class with decent skills in writing can do the paper. The difference is the ease of access. Most writing classes aside from the required and writing majors are not even loved by students. This is all to say there is a lot more to it than people see from the surface.
