As an artist, my stance on AI art is really... conplicated.. but also sort of black and white at the same time?
I actually use AI sometimes to help myself visualize an idea I have.. it's really good to use as a tool to fuel creativity.
BUT
I hate people who use it for commercial use instead of hiring an artist. Using AI to put someone out of a job is horrible, and that's why my stance on AI voice is pretty bad. Using someone's voice against their will and not paying them for it sucks, and I can see people copyrighting their own voices in the future to battle this. AI is an amazing and interesting creation, but I'm very sad to see money hungry companies use it for bad.
I also dislike people who use it to get a discount on commissioning an artist. I've seen a lot of people commission my friends for sketches, then use AI to finish it. They can't do anything about it, since the commissioner DID pay and it's their art now, but that's such a morally fucked thing to do, even if it's legal.
Also, feeding small artists' art into AI and creating "art" with it so you don't have to pay them for a commission is horrible... for a lot of people, their livelihood is the money they make off commissions
