Edit: one thing I would like to ask this man, if we as humans made the AI with a specific purpose, and it knows what its purpose is, why would it attempt to preserve itself by making backups in the first place when it knows it is not "dying" and can be turned back on. Not sure if that made sense and I hope the answer isn't just "they are more intelligent than us" cuz that just horrifies me
