The problem is not with AI image creation but rather in how people respond to it and how people use it. It can be used to create variations on someone elses piece, but why? no reason to, you can simply use it in an ethical way like you do anything else. If you live thinking fearful things then that's a choice, and one will justify it but we are not meant to live in fear. Things, not just AI art, are going to change very quickly you won't be able to keep up. MidJourney is can be quite an experience in visual exploation , create for yourself a few thousand images and see if that doesn't make you more creative. You will eventually see these images in your mind without the AI, connects you to that deep creative part of yourself. Don't be angry. The creative mind can come up a lot of ways to make money with AI image generation. Will send creativity to another level. Should we try to stop that from happenning. The things I make with MidJourney I have never seen anything like it so I'm pretty sure it's coming up with stuff never seen before of even close. No need to steel anything but people will and do but that's not AI's fault. It's much more then Anime, but people will make anime models and others anyway, ok, control what you can, let the rest go. There's no right answer it's a choice to live in fear or not. I understand but this gets us to a matter of beliefs and ways of looking at things. Should we all feel uncomforable about our thoughts on this, not, if you allow and not try to control where you have no power to control. Nothing is straight forward when a limited understanding of things is present. Live with integrity. Don't putdown someone (quite childish) for using AI image generation.
