If they are building an AI that has its own goals and not in alignment with its owners I can't see how they are going to get AI to do the work that is needed to replace humans.. Maybe all AI ends up doing is sabotaging the jobs. Looks like these predictions of AI replacing all humans is some kind of fantasy dreamt up by billionaires who increase their share price by making their fantasies wilder and wilder. These people are so detached from reality, to delusional and to immature to be in charge of such technology. If we had proper governments and a real democracy our governments would be stepping in now and breaking up the monopolies and regulating the industry properly. But we don't have real democracies nor proper governments.
