@Eisenbison when did I say we have to put out laws *against* AI?
I said in my comment that we can't and shouldn't ban AI. Just as you said, it'd be futile, and I don't think we should try to oppose progress just cause it scares or bothers some of us.
As for what laws could prove useful, we could enforce a rule to make all companies doing this have to use copyright free media, or ask for explicit permission to use an author's creations, and if a company is proven to have used them without permission, sue them.
As I said before, I'm not a laws guy but a tech guy. So I have no clue how laws are actually made. This is just what I could think off the top of my head.
But my opinion is maintained, we shouldn't fight it. Instead we should adapt, and find ways to use this tech for.our advantage
