As much as i have found exurbia's videos entertaining in the past, I feel like they have become too edgy and dramatic over the years. I appreciate the man's philosophical approach but I can't ignore the pandering towards people seeking validation for their irrational fears and wild imagination regarding some world ending doom or their "We live in the Matrix" - fantasies. "AI" generators are powerful but sentience is far from any of it. If anything the term "AI" is a tad bit misleading. The AI tech we have now is not something that can become sentient on it's own all of a sudden. But I'm sure if you drink the coolaid and begin confusing yourself with these philosophical questions, pretending to have some higher understanding on the issue, you can make anything sound and feel not real and just go insane in the process. To each their own i guess.
