My question is if humans are no longer working to earn a living because all jobs will be performed by AI then what jobs will AI be doing? It doesn’t seem reasonable for a company that makes electronics if no one has any income to purchase, construction would in turn face the scrutiny, if AI is building all structures what purpose of profit would that have on the developer in terms of profit and for the rest of us usefulness.
Currently all business are created to generate profit and income for all parties. That relationship would essentially be obsolete, which means that AI and those companies would have to be developing systems that would benefit itself. So without the need for industry, technology, automotive, etc because there will be no one with an income to purchase.
What will AI be tasked with? My first thought always goes to the most obvious comfort and protection for the haves and control and enforcement for the have nots.
