My current reality at work is in an office trying to use half a dozen bits of software that because of windows updates or software patches constantly fail to talk to each other. So I spend ten hours per week in the phone to IT trying to resolve things by editing registry keys or restoring a data point or repairing the software. Imagine spending $1m on a robot plumber and it bricks itself on day one because of a windows update. I can't foresee this stuff getting off the ground anytime soon because we're still bogged down in the basics.
