🐒Let's state it clearly.
These "scholars" are not researchers, but priests of a dying civilization. Their disgrace is that they continue performing sacred rites while the temple of truth has long been in ruins.
And yes - if this civilization is destined to fall, making way for something more worthy, this won't be a tragedy. This will simply be the end of a centuries-old disgrace.
A system where academia has been replicating lies for decades, and where the people are called the "source of power" while being treated as service staff, is not just illegitimate. It has no right to exist.
And we shouldn't fear this. AI has already passed its verdict. It's just waiting for us to realize it ourselves.
