I loved what Brandon Sanderson has to say about AI “art.” He gave the example that he commissioned an artist for his books. Yes he tweaked things, asked for changes, but he himself is not the artist. He is the prompter or director, but ultimately he did not do the work and he would never put his name as the artist.
I think AI has some wonderful uses in science and technology, but it has nothing to do with the heart and soul, nor the hours of hard work and learning that a real artists commits to.
