As someone with experience in the field, I must say that although this is a smart take, it doesn't really work like that. The LLM's "default" isn't to play some role, it isn't even to have a conversation, it's to output seemingly related text (maybe half a blog post and half an article about something while ignoring you completely). We hammer it down hard using a process known as RLHF. Essentially, humans give it "doggy treats when it's right
