As a Christian, I don’t think that this world was created for me specifically, I think that the world was created by the creator, God, and that he made us because he wanted to be in relationship with us. But a gift that’s demanded is not truly ever a gift. So he gave us free will to choose, and we chose the tree of knowledge and here we sit at the forefront of AI. The other tree was the tree of life and death that which we didn’t eat from so we are not immortal. I suppose one could call this a simulation. It sounds like a bad connotation, but that’s just our relationship with the word.
