Sure, it's important to understand that he's only talking about areas where he was probably just ignorant about the current state of development of the hardware. AI has not really advanced at all in some key areas, only being augmented by targeted fixes that don't address the underlying issue. Eventually too much of the support structure will be patches and not enough skeleton, and the whole thing will fall apart. That's already happening with the finances, nobody can really figure out how to get people to spend the required money on video generation. There are some very useful tools out there in LLM's, but precursors to AGI they are not. They won't just evolve into something new one day like a caterpillar going into a cocoon and coming out a butterfly.
