honestly i still think humanity needs AI to progress, but it needs to be regulated. it should only be used for research purposes. nothing it generates should be legally copyrightable. it should be a tool for inspiration so that we progress along with the technology, not relegate the creative and educated side of humanity to it. not to mention how much it disrupts the general economic structures that maintain our society as it is currently. like if we must let it be copyrightable then that AI needs to be programed to know the artistic contributor and pay royalty's to them and promote them. so people can also still make money from commissions when people seek them out for more personal art styles. i still would like stricter regulations than that. but more likely the other is more likely to be successfully implemented. not to mention its environmental impact on where we exist needs to be better regulated as well.
