AI sucks because everyone get flack for it. If you have a very technical style you get flagged. No ifs ands or buts, everyone think you use AI because tge way you write is similar to AI. And ironically this happens most often to the more over achievers who have every reason to not use AI.
In the end I see people now both writing theor essay and checking it for AI before editing it, so they don't get accidentally flagged as AI.
