On the month of July, i went to an art convention with the intention of buying some art and just having fun on my own. As i was browsing every artist's booth, looking for prints and such, i came across clearly AI generated pieces all over a big section of the convention! On top of all of it being AI, the prices were insane in contrary to the actual artists who were not selling art in the strategic parts of the convention. The audacity to sell AI in an art convention and it being pricier than organic art baffled me at that moment. It was all Ai of already existing Anime characters, just boring and simply UGLY. My vision was being polluted with trash. There needs to be more rules against AI in art conventions.
