Because they don't understand how the pricing of art works. Unique, rare, and unreproducible things have high value. Cheap mass-products have less value. Guess which one covers Intracranial Art.
Same happened with cameras. A book with a cover with a simple fotograph and text has lower values than a book with a painting artwork on its cover.
There's a protuberance in this principle while AI Art is a novelty but that's all. Anyways: adapt, don't cry.
