"AI Comapnies defending themselves from abuse" love the feeling of entitlement "we are stealing your stuff and you shouldnt protect yourselves from that, thats mean!"
Also i feel that AI is great for other things, like human computer interface, data analysis, enhanced web searches (best with sources), but not for generating stuff.
The generative side is and will always be terrible.
Generating stuff might be a quick dopamine hit, but you wont think of AI images/videos weeks later.
And many sites and art sites are being flooded with AI images, loosing the qualitities that they previously had and what made their value to the consumer.
