Yeah, ethics shouldn’t get in the way of humans becoming a more advanced civilization. Besides, if artists do win and make copyrighted works illegal for AI to train on then how would that change anything? Multiple companies from China, will make AI art that’s trained on copyright works anyways and then that would benefit China rather than America which is the one to ban it. From the way I see it, it’s a lost battle that could never be won. It’s better to embrace the technology.
