Automation and AI is not a threat to humanity. They’re a threat to capitalism. These things should be celebrated for their ability to liberate humanity from dangerous and bullshit jobs, but capitalism warps reality and has people begging to not be liberated from work! It’s insane! My hope is that we continue down the path of automation and AI just so capitalism collapses, as it’s clearly not compatible with abundance and further technological advancement! It’s just a matter of time
