Those jobs being automated IS a problem if they're the ones critical to the rest of the economy. Go on strike as an "artist" and see what leverage that has on your country's political future.
The work that sustains and develops our nation is the work that's truly valuable. Hence the root of problem is once again people's deeply ingrained hostility to the nation itself, and their determination to dismantle it and replace it with a faceless cosmopolity where everyone's interchangeable and the entire system only exists to satisfy individual whims.
