Very interesting episode. I disagree with only one point, the main flaw of AI is the fact that it is digital - energy is required for it to work.
If we take the universal income route, what happens in case of a catastrophe that would affect the power grid for a long period?
Obviously, I live pretty up north and I lived through some major power outages due to icy rain, heavy snow, strong winds...
I am also aware that we are currently governed by woke idiots who think we should all switch to electric cars, even if the power grid couldn't support it.
My point is, the human body generates its own energy, which in some way makes us better than most machines.
AI must remain the loyal assistant of humans, a digital dog with a solid leash/wire/battery.
