Humanity just has this habit of taking a beloved hobby and making profit off of it in some way. Scalping, lying about AI art, ect. The thing is some people will buy AI art. It's not hard to just be honest and say "I made this with AI" and label your work as such. There will always be someone who is trying to make money the easy way. It's just how humanity has always been. Though, if there is an event you need to have clear guidelines on what is allowed. Especially if someone is selling something.
Art isn't something you learn overnight. It's hard, it's supposed to be hard. The most talented artists have sacrified so much to reach their level. If you want to be an artist you have to apply yourself to it. Your art is going to be bad at first, everyone's was. Make art because you love it. Enjoy the process. No machine can do that for you. To me that is what the best part of art is, the journey to completing the piece.
