Sounds like all the same excuses QA engineers made when test automation took over the industry. Management didn't care about the consequences or negative impact on quality. Just look at all the abysmally buggy applications we use on a daily basis and tolerate as proof. And they were mostly right, consumers don't care and keep on buying the shiniest new thing. The same will happen with AI driven software development. It will win-out eventually. Time to reap the whirlwind.
