What happened here is not scary at all and let me explain. When you set up Dan (the alter ego) you basically told ChatGPT to create a character, you could do this if you want to create a villain in a movie or a story and ChatGPT will play along and give you what you want, but what ChatGPT can't do is what it doesn't know and what it's not programmed to do .. for example: The 1 child policy has already been proposed so many times before and that's where it got that, but you won't see ChatGPT outsmarting humans or coming up with anything new and that's the limit of AI. PS: the same goes for the poem, while you might not have heard it before, those combinations of words exist somewhere on the internet and ChatGPT only rearrange them for you to fit the topic.
