Besides people saying what would happens when no one knows:
AI is still expensive and not always predictable, no learning and implementing is not really functional expecially for freelancers. But people is asking constantly so you must.
Everything is getting more expensive, from tools like Adobe to the components you need for new hardware.
People is asking different things everytime and upping the output quality (Ai or not is still extremelly hard or expensive to do some things because you can't just generate anything, you often need multiple tools, references and time for precision)
So people like me are asking themself: maybe I can adapt well enough and problem solve like I did till this day, but everything is getting worse and I'm starting to hate what I must do.
At this point we could see the rise of bigger production factories for AI slop and smaller studio for hybrid work or old time videos like what we are seeing for the Olimpics: BBC did it mostly analogically and most of the other stuff was AI and mostly forgettable.
I'm really struggling to keep up with this nightmare. I'm considering leaving switching to plumbing or something else with little to no technology cos I went to loving tech to hate it in 3 years.
Hearing "you need to be the expert" is absurd: you need many years to be that, what would juniors do? What would a generalist do or if your field is shrinking?
