I also made the argument that game screenshots were actually art.. art is a WIDE range subject.. saying something is Art doesn't mean it's the same thing as a 10-million-dollar painting. Art is just a word to describe something created using tools and your own vision to create. AI generation is using no vision whatsoever. The "tools" you are using is other people's art pieces to generate something that wasn't actually created using your vision but just a bunch of other people's visions. The only thing you can't do is claim ownership of these two things because the things included in them are not yours but thats not what makes it art either. However, using AI is still much worse because you are letting an AI create your vision for you using those other peoples art. It is literally straight up robbery to claim ownership to anything AI art generated.
